Honeycut, Honeycut, we LOVE Honeycut. I have officially seen them two weekends in a row. Awesome for me, and if you haven't seen them live yet, not awesome for you. They played very early in the day on Saturday, right after it stopped raining. It was awesome because the pavement was wet and it was so hot outside that steam was collecting on the surface of the pavement. It was almost as if there was a hidden fog machine somewhere. It gave Honeycut's performance a cool feel. If I ever photographed them in a studio I would apply that aesthetic. But anyways, check out the playlist and the music and next time you see Honeycut near you, share your experience with us.

Hahaha. Their lyrics are funny. Good time hip hop, I call it. Makes you move for sure. They had a LOT of groupies.

Oh man. They wore me out. Pictures don't do them justice. Check out the video clip we have and if you EVER see them on a lineup...don't pass the opportunity by. Their style of electronic music is timeless, mixing in performance art that includes fire dancers, straight jackets, fiberoptic body suits, and a huge human bubble to crowd surf in. Confucious, Bunny and Monk make up R.I.T.M.

One of the most impressive shows of the weekend in my opinion. Punk rock with a piano? Hell ya! Although it gives it an emo feel...they are a band that has elements that not many others are incorporating. Awesome live show. I love going to festivals and seeing bands I've never seen before...it's like a happy little surprise. And it kicks even more ass being 5 feet away in the photo pit!.

The punk legends LIVE!!!

For those that dont know:

Bad Brains are an American punk rock band, originally formed in Washington, D.C. in 1979 . They are widely regarded as being among the pioneers of hardcore punk, though the band's members objected to the term "hardcore" to describe their music.

Originally formed as a jazz fusion ensemble under the name Mind Power, Bad Brains developed a very fast and intense punk rock
sound, which was both musically complex, and was often played faster
and more emphatically than the music of many of their peers. They were
also an adept reggae band, in a sort of Jekyll-and-Hyde arrangement, while later recordings featured elements of funk and heavy metal. Bad Brains are also notable as religious followers of the Rastafari movement.
